What we don't collect

VIN decoding happens entirely in your browser: your VIN is sent directly to the public NHTSA vehicle database (vpic.nhtsa.dot.gov) and never touches our servers. We run no accounts, no analytics on VINs, and no server-side logs of lookups.

What we do process

If we display advertising (e.g. Google AdSense), the ad provider may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where consented. See Google's advertising policy for details and opt-out instructions.

Cookies

The decoder itself sets no cookies. Advertising cookies, if any, are covered by the consent banner shown in applicable regions.
